The courtyard faces the view to the green belt and has limited obstacles between inside and outside, enhancing the feeling of space and open plan living.

The house factors in its context and creates an intimate and private internal oasis while shielding the occupants and rooms from the neighbouring erven using screen walls, courtyards and planting. The arrival axis of the home draws one into a breakaway courtyard before ushering you into a double volume space overlooking the rim flow pool to the greenbelt. The layout of the home offers intimacy for two inhabitants while caters for privacy when there are guests in all rooms due to the separation of the room’s functions.
